Nadia Folland of Flowers Going Green has spent over 8 years gaining her floristry qualifications and working in various shops throughout Devon and Hampshire.


Nadia has excellent experience in the floristry industry, has entered several competitions with high levels of success and was recently featured on the Master Florist Website for her Bridal Design.


Nadia decided it was time to open her own shop so that she can provide her customers with stunning floral designs for all occasions. As well as providing designs for everyday occasions, Nadia offers a bespoke design service for your special events throughout the year.

New florist, Flowers Going Green, has burst onto the wedding scene with a bevy of fresh and exciting ideas, which translate into highly creative designs. Based in Horrabridge on the edge of Dartmoor, owner Nadia Folland is a young florist with wide ranging experience in the floristry industry.

 

She brings a passionate eco ethos to the business. Sourcing most of her flowers and foliage locally and utilising biodegradable materials as much as possible; this passion for green living extends to her policy for recycling and deliveries. Specialising in gorgeous bride bouquets and wedding arrangements, Nadia's bespoke design service spans classic to contemporary creations consistently delivered in spectacular style.

Workshops:

Nadia teaches at a variety of places from studios to The National trust, We also offer flower parties in your own home, why not get a group of friends together and have a go. Nadia also runs a monthly flower club that is open to all ages and skills. Children’s flower classes are also catered for.  As well as wedding workshops, and talks for groups such as schools, WI groups etc.

Meet the Team:

As Flowers started expanding Nadia started looking for some fantastic staff who could help deliver her vision! She found them in Rachael and Janine - Rachael joined Nadia in 2010 whilst studying for her NVQ2 in floristry, she soon became part of the team. Rachael has a passion for all thing pretty, and loves the classical work, with a real love for seasonal flowers. Janine joined the team in 2011, Janine and Nadia trained as florist together back in 2003. Janine has a love of contemporary work and colour with a real flair for large scale work. Together the 3 ladies have a fantastic and broad knowledge in many diverse areas but all with the same vision, giving the perfect combination.
